Freelancer Original Concept Artwork

On and off I have been collecting original Freelancer concept artwork for the past several years. Unfortunately due to personal hard drive crashes and websites such as the old LancersReactor.com failing to backup this sort of work a lot has been lost.

The following three images were done for Digital Anvil way back in 1999 and are by a concept artist called Craig Mullens and are available on the "extras" DVD with the soundtrack album.

And perspective view, more interesting and different glass area than the grafted in Hawk version finally used. No cargo bay. Interesting Gun model, makes more sense of the large hexagonal hard point later used.

Not often seen early artwork, taken from the DVD. Interesting to note that more animation was planned than actually used. The folding wings and "pop out" turrets on the Kusari Transport being a case in point.
