I was deeply saddened by the continued problems experienced by our esteemed member Legion with his computer.
In order to assist him I have contacted a number of celebrity friends and I plan to host a fundraising concert called "Compaid" to try and buy him a new machine.
So far this extravaganza will be headlined by the Wurzels. If you have any more ideas for this project please post them here.

I am deepy, deeply touched ( in more ways than one! ) by your concern for my failing / -ed piece of classic 20th century Computerationing Equipment. As you know, or may not, the vid card crashes during Freelancing and my dreams of being number 1 on the Global Kill Boards are waining fast!. Well, maybe for a day/ week/ month (delete as applicable) or so. On hearing about the planned Extravaganza I immediately contacted Jim Morrison who told me to go forth and collect more acts....To Book them and they will come!!. I think thats what he said anyhoo...there was something about 'going forth' or whatever...but I digress. For my part in this fund raising stint I plan to invite Sir Bob to recite a few limericks in his inimitable way, and to demand that they Give over all their fucking Munny, or he wont stop. Sadly I still have to get this by the organisers................... Speaking of Limericks.....I wonder if Pam Ayres would loike to join in . Mi Mother had a Flit Gun It wasnt devoid of charm A bit of flit, shot out of it, The rest shot up her arm!!. But for now I shall eargely await the final song of the Fund raising rally... I have a brand new computer, and I'll give you the key......board!!. On that note I will now go climb back under the bed......more coffee needed! Legion

A bit of bad news, it would appear the Wurzels can't make Compaid something to do with not being arsed. I do have a line on David Soul and the Grumbleweeds although they do have serious doubts about their ability to fill my back garden.

What about Slade? I heard they'll do a gig for a case of baked beans, throw in mini sausages and they'll do all their top 40 hits in a one'a, should take up at least a couple of minutes of the program...
