New Deerhound model to replace the worn out ex-wolfhound model with old Evolutions code that has been occupying the middle elite slot for far to long. A lower, sleeker wolfhound with and extra gun mount. All parts target-able, with custom .sur and opening bay doors.

I was working out the reactor geometry for the Rheinland Fol8 and I thought why don't I make a new reactor for the Howler. Having done that, the rest was put to shame a little. So.... I rebuilt the rest. Banshee cockpit and wings have been used to keep it in the same family. Body, reactor and engine are custom. Bay doors open and are coded by hand as usual. I cannot get the 3dsMax exporter to work and Pipers latest exporter for Milk has no provision to properly position animated parts. So in short, new replacement model for the Howler light fighter ex-nu_universe Hobbes model

As some will know a copy of the Freelancer Beta has come light, and the first fruits are showing themselves. Above is the Nomad Elite ship which was removed for some unknown reason. As you can see it is the same shape as the ship icon in the contact list.

This is the Liberty Conestoga Type B Super Freighter - in-advisably docking at a Bretonia Battleship in Dublin System. I'm happier now with the general shape, still not happy with the cockpit frame design. The original stretched Rhino/Piranha cockpit just looks pants, at least to me anyway. I was thinking of maybe reintroducing the smaller Rhino cab but offsetting from center line to the left, much like your standard HGV tugs you see around container terminals. Also - nobody told me GMG turrets were using a gun model.
